I saw in a pregame interview that he declined to being interviewed. Something happened in his personal life that leaked onto the court.

Green finished the game with two points but also had 14 rebounds, 14 assists, six steals and four blocks.

Only two points? That guy really sucks!

Man, imagine our defense if we switched out Sully for Green. OMG, that would be ridiculous! And yes, of course our BKN pick is worth it.

I don't mind a guy who hates losing, I think it is a good thing.

Seems more like a player angry because he's unaccustomed to be losing by 11 at half time more than anything else.

No, this was clearly about the dynamic on the team.  His tirade was directed at being told not to shoot, or rather to distribute the ball-which is similar to most players.
The thing is-last year Golden State seemed to be like the musical group The Band-each participant contributing and just trying to play together: The Golden State Warriors.

This year it seems to be Stephen Curry and the Warriors.
ESPN and Bleacher Report have worked overtime to market Steph Curry.  Curry is having a magical year and deservedly is getting coverage.   Draymond Green blew up and had another tirade vs Chicago earlier this year.  This one clearly seems to be about his role on the team.

I don't think it's at that level yet but Pat Riley describes the symptoms of "The Disease of More" http://www.bluedemonsbball.com/news/the-disease-of-me---pat.html

And Bill Simmons continued about it at http://espn.go.com/espn/page2/story?page=simmons/071025:

"In his book "Showtime," Pat Riley unveiled "the disease of more" and argued that "success is often the first step toward disaster." According to Riley, after the 1980 Lakers won, everyone shifted into a more selfish mode. They had sublimated their respective games to win as a group; now they wanted to reap the rewards as individuals, even if those rewards meant having to spend way too much time at Jack Nicholson's house. Everyone wanted more money, playing time and recognition. Eventually they lost perspective and stopped doing the little things that make teams win and keep winning, eventually imploding in the first round of the postseason. So much for defending the title."

The rest of the league can only hope...

Well, if he EVER gets tired of his role in GSW, we have a home for him in BOS.

So we're getting him right? And Cousins, Durant, Simmons and Lebron right? I've been told Danny has a treasure trove of assetts.
Truuuuuuuuuth!

I can honestly see Draymond being on a short list of players that CBS / Danny think would fit in well in Green.

Maybe GSW can get upset in 1st round, Draymond blows up again, demands a trade, we sign Al Horford AND get Draymond and the rest is history.

Stranger things have happened. Don't count out CRAZINESS in the NBA.

The haters won’t like it, but Curry proceeded to do more of the same dancing, shimmying, shouting and celebrating, all while Kevin Durant, who had fouled out early in overtime for the first time in three seasons, watched in silence from the Thunder bench in a shocked arena. Think Durant is even more juiced about joining the Warriors in the offseason? My thought has been to not break up this precious core and to do whatever Curry wants, which is to maintain the status quo. But every now and then, you do wonder, such as when Green flips out as only Green can.

ESPN’s Lisa Salters, doing her job as sideline reporter and waiting outside the Warriors’ locker room to confer with coaches, overheard Green lashing into Kerr and the assistants. According to Salters, Green screamed, “I am not a robot. I know I can play, you have me messed up right now. If you don’t want me to shoot, I won’t shoot the rest of the game.” Then, Salters said, Green started “daring people, threatening people, ‘Come sit me down.’ “

Why is Green so angry? Why is he always screaming at officials and verbally taking on opponents — such as Durant on two occasions Saturday — when much of it is unnecessary? There is a marked difference between raw emotion and bizarre behavior, and sometimes, Green is counterproductive. This time, he was disruptive and divisive. Doesn’t he realize he already has won the big game in life, overcoming a humble childhood in a mean Michigan town to sign an $85 million deal, overcoming all the slights (too short, too pudgy) to carve a niche as one of the league’s best defenders and most versatile players? By blowing up, Green surely cost himself a spot on the U.S. Olympic team.

If Kerr and general manager Bob Myers don’t nip this madness in the bud, his temper could hurt the Warriors at the absolute wrong time, in May or June.

Hmmm wonder if Brad could handle his personality . Are we a strong enough locker room ?

I bet he would be happy to get more chances on the offensive end , and would definitely fit in with his defense and ball movement .

GSW would be straight up foolish to not keep Draymond happy, though.

And no matter how cool KD thinks he'd be in GSW, adding him (and subtracting Draymond) would take away from the chemistry on that team.

Between KD - KT and Curry, there is simply not enough balls to go around.

My guess is KD and Curry would get the green lights, but then KT would be third wheel.

Would Durant be happy with less offensive opportunities Could he turn into a defensive stalwart like Draymond? He is already a very good defender.

What would that say about his legacy?

Chemistry is HUGE in the NBA - maybe more than any other sport.

Bosh-Wade-Lebron couldn't pull off the 'chip their first season - like WE did in 07-08.

There are SO many things to consider...so many intangibles....GSW would be making a HUUUUGE mistake in trading or letting Draymond go.

I hope they do.

I bet GSW and Green are extremely happy being 53 -  5.     Sports journalism is rubbish.
