 I believe so. Joe's waiver period is 100% a formality and he'll be a free agent on Saturday at 5 p.m.

It makes sense. We need both wing depth and shooting (unless James Young suddenly morphs into a functional NBA player.)

I initially thought Shumpert, LeBron and JR Smith was good enough. But JJ gives them that extra lineup flexibility against GSW. Shame to lose minutes to quality big men like K-Love, T.Thompson or T.Mosgov though.

They can only afford to play one of those guys at a time versus Golden State anyway.

Adding Joe would allow them to trot out a lineup like Irving - Shumpert - Joe - Bron - Thompson/Love, which could be tough to handle.

Similarly, if Joe went to OKC, they could trot out a lineup like Westbrook - Waiters/Payne - Joe - Durant - Ibaka.

Does this seem off to anybody else?  7 game winning shots over the past 10 years leads by a wide margin?  What's the actual metric used here (shots made with 0.00 left? the last shot made at the end of a close game?  Something else?)  Either way, this just seems low to me.
