Wow, JJ's stats are pretty bad this year. I was hoping this would hurt the Nets and get us a better pick, but it might not matter.

He was their third best player, and I'd really like Danny to try and sign him.
Johnson, who is averaging 11.8 points on 40.6 percent shooting but has seen an uptick in his performance of late, has been best known for his game-winning shots at the buzzer in Brooklyn. He has seven of them in the past decade, which accounts for the the most by any NBA player over that span by a wide margin, according to ESPN Stats & Information.
It is ironic that he was acquired and the 1st round picks were traded to convince D-Will to re-sign -- and then D-Will was garbage for them. Geez. Killed by desperation moves.

Geez. Killed by desperation moves. They could have Damian Lillard there right now. Instead they mortgaged probably close to a decade to ultimately get one series win. There's going to be a great book or 30 for 30 on this someday I think.
I don't care where he goes, the fact that he won't be on the Nets is huge news for the pick. Too bad they didn't buy him out before his game winner a couple weeks back
