Have to think it was either Marc Gasol, Butler, or Griffin.
All of the 3 teams are waiting for their respective rosters to flesh out, Clippers waiting to see how they pan out in the playoffs, Grizzlies had a mini fire sale, and pretty much are seeing whether or not Conley re-signs or bolts. And Butler has plenty of time explicitly stated he doesn't love how the offense is run, and not a huge fan of the coach.
Just trying to see what everyone thinks, but if it was indeed Butler, and he does get traded. How does anyone like the idea of trying to go after Love, and bringing Noah as our starting center with a minute restriction?
I like to think Noah still has some gas left in the tank, but in limited minutes. Of course he can't be our only option at the 5, and he doesn't have any offensive skill that fits in Brad Steven's system with the exception of hustling, rebounding, and his knack for passing with highly skilled court vision. But I certainly would entertain the thought of trying to see if he would take a discount, or a one year player option to boost his value. A team of Butler, Smart, Crowder, and Noah would be a four headed monster on defense lol.
