None of the current buyout candidates would help the Celtics current roster.

I wouldn't mind some K-Mart
I could very well see the Hawks... starting Taurean Prince at the 3, who is already better than Crowder, imo.

you vs. the guy she tells you not to worry about

I would think DA kicks the tires on Larry Sanders.
Could be a phenomenal addition
Could be a non factor
Either way no risk

David Lee just got bought out.

Really hoping he doesn't go to the Nets.

He'll get plenty of minutes and immediately becomes their third best player and in NYC, he's got a big stage AND motivation.

Hope Danny had a wink-wink with him about "no Nets".

My guess would be he goes somewhere where he can get minutes and rehab his value. He already has a ring as bench warmer.
Isaiah, you were lightning in a bottle.

Wherever he ends up, I wish D Lee the best.

Thanks for your time as a Celtic, David.

Doesn't sound like it. This from RealGM:

David Lee is believed to be prioritizing the opportunity to play minutes over joining a team with championship aspirations.

Makes sense. Would you rather have a second ring or a chance at another decent payday?

If he wanted to stay with a team that has championship aspirations, there are only a handful of teams with a better shot to make it to the NBA Finals than Boston.  Which of those teams would want Lee?

He might be a decent option for Atlanta (not that I'd say they're championship caliber), who are pretty thin on bigs.

It's probably been said but Kevin Martin or Novak would be a great pickup. Get some additional shooting off the bench
