Joe Johnson
Kevin Martin
Steve Novak
JJ Hickson
Anderson Varajaeo

Any interest in these guys ?

I would say Kevin Martin or Novak to provide 3pt shooting off the bench . Can Andy still play, or broken down ?

I imagine this is Varejao's last act as a Cav. He'll take the buyout from Portland, retire, and go back to Cleveland to do what he does best: cheer.

you can't return to a team that trades you for 1 year , they changed that rule .

How can they stop him from buying tickets to Cavs games? He'll retire.

The Celtics will reach buyout agreement with David Lee, reports have indicated. Lee missed practice today as result, per @GwashburnGlobe.

JJ Hickson could have his uses. Athletic. Run the floor. Rebound. Energy bench big.

Denver will buy out Steve Novak.  I'd have to think he'd be high on the list of potential candidates.  He plays a position where the C's desire more depth, and offers outside shooting off the bench in a hypothetical game where the C's have gone cold, or want to run a specific play out of a time-out.

Novak has collected a lot of paycheck over the last few years without actually playing much.

Also, it's important to note that the C's still have their room exception, and so can offer more than the minimum to a potential signee.

This is true.  But he can still hit the 3 all the same. (42% over the last 1.5 seasons).

Joe Johnson wants to stay a net and is asking for a multi year extension over a buyout

TP for that nugget.

Celtics could be an attractive landing spot for someone. Money and role on a playoff team.
