  • Boston Celtics= Championships, nothing less.
I honestly think Danny will present the Cavs a godfather offer for Love before the draft lottery.

I'm not sure what Celtics players that would include but something with Miami that sends Bosh to the Cavs, BRK pick to Miami and Love to Boston would probably work. Obviously Riley might orefer Love vs the pick, but if Danny sweetened it with more picks+young guys it may work.
Riley's Dragic experiment has failed. Bosh is getting too old to wait around and Whiteside  is a goner. Wade is cooked.
Reset and add to Winslow might be the best option for them.

But yeah, a 3 team deal for Love before draft lottery night is highly likely to me.
"We are lucky we have a very patient GM that isn't willing to settle for being good and coming close. He wants to win a championship and we have the potential to get there still with our roster and assets."

quoting 'Greg B' on RealGM after 2017 trade deadline.
Read that last line again. One more time.

there is no collection of players available that make us better than GS or even the Cavs. why are we bothering looking for a deal now? even if we got Cousins, Howard, Horford, Teague and Galinari we're not beating GS. so why are we rushing to(at best) be #2?

if Durant, Westbrook or Anthony Davis were available then I see scrambling at the deadline, but they're not.
