I'm just  curious, if you could only upgrade 2 starter positions which would they be  in priority order.
And do you think that would be enough for Danny to consider this a championship contender?

Get a quality wing, so we can play Crowder extended minutes on PF. Make a 2/3 for 1 Deal to get Mickey some minutes or more quality at PF.

I feel like the guard rotation is really good, and Amir is a great glue guy in any lineup.

One word. Simmons

We are nice everywhere else

Ingram is a nice looking player but he won't fit under CBS system

You need a durable workhorse .

Valentine fits too. Too bad he is not a little taller but beast rebounder for only 6'5. Top passing skills too

This thread highlights our need to upgrade the bigs.

We have excellent role playing bigs, but If I could upgrade two positions, I'd upgrade the 4 and 5.

Imagine (with Sully, KO and Amir off the bench)

Marc Gasol
Pau Gasol
Crowder
Bradley or Smart
IT

Gobert
Favors

DeAndre J.
Bosh

B. Lopez/Chandler/Valuncianus/Orlando center/etc...
Porzingis/Okafor eventually, etc....

Some of these bigs are good enough that we'd really only need one...for example add Favors OR Gobert to our current bigs situation (let alone A. Davis, Boogie or Towns) and that's good enough.

I think the Cs need to upgrade either the PF or the center position with an Allstar caliber player anf upgrade the Bench wing. I like turner but an off the ball shooting 2/3 would better fit this team
Mavs
Wiz
Hornet

I think of this a bit differently. I think we want to upgrade every position.

Every player is available for the "right" trade, but all of our guys are also upgrading themselves.

I mean, would you trade Bradley for a better 2-guard? Maybe. But he is also the best ball-hawk in the NBA. He hits big shots, and he is finally attacking the rim more to become a more well-rounded player. He is not done developing. I'm not sure he will ever be a great passer or ball-handler, but he is still rounding out his game.

What about Crowder? Sully? Olynyk? Smart? These guys haven't maxed out either.
I think Thomas could become an even more efficient shooter in another year in CBS system and with another scorer to play off of.

Turner, Johnson, Lee, Jerebko, and Zeller are maxed out as players (in my opinion).
