So IT gets in for his production while being 5'2", as Sully puts it, and KO is the 7-foot freak in the 3-point contest?

The only site that mentions this 'news' is the source in the post, and this is not among the most reliable. I would not take this too seriously altho clearly Kelly's shooting is impressive lately.

The only "news" presented here is that KO thinks it would be cool to be in the contest, especially since the AS game is going to be in Toronto.

Nothing more has been claimed or implied.

Hope it happens. He has been on fire as of late from the 3. Come on KO beat Curry ;)

LOL ....Curry could outshoot KO left hand behind his back .  I don't think Larry Bird could beat Curry in the three contest .

Kelly's lack of consistent aggression is keeping him from extensive minutes and increase in his numbers. His second biggest weakness is his poor foul shooting percentage relative to his 3 point percentage. I would bet his differential between these two percentages (assuming a certain minimum of shots from each area) has to lead the league, or near the top. Most great three point shooters are also great foul shooters (Curry, Ray Allen, Bird, e.g.).  Tommy Heinsohn says it is because he rushes taking his foul shots, especially the front end of two shot fouls.

Are you listening, Kelly??

He might have a decent shot at winning if he doesn't pump fake, drive, stop, fake again and then shuffle his pivot foot.  ;)

Imagine him pulling pump-fakes on 3-point contest.

he's a bit too slow on his setup and release to be a legit contender in the 3pt contest imo, although it would be great to have a celtic in there, and it would be great for Toronto to have a native in the contest.

I would love this, but he doesn't take enough shots to be in serious consideration. KO isn't really a sniper at this point so much as a guy who knocks it down brilliantly when uncontested.
