Tonight's game illustrates why Sullinger can't be part of your long term plans.

He was our best big man tonight...10 points 8 rebounds on 60% shooting. Poor free throws with 2/6 but you're targeting him too much in this thread and it's really not fair.
Sullinger is the least of our problems.

Yeah, he was the only big worth anything tonight. Johnson only played 15 minutes for some unknown reason, so he couldn't even get going. Lee was 3-11. Why he thinks he's deserving of the third most shots on the team is beyond me.
Nothing against Sully.  He is what he is and he competes.  But he's only 6'7", and gets abused on the offensive boards by good players with more length as we saw tonight.  If he's your starting 4 you're a .500 team at best.

Jerebko's terrible play didn't change the fact that we couldn't guard anyone on P&R with or without him. That's very concerning to any basketball team. I mean, VERY concerning. Hawks just had to use the simplest play in basketball (and not even that well) to beat us. That's a little sad.

Doesn't happen with Smart in there.

I know people keep saying defense but our offense is what has killed us ALL SEASON. We have defended well enough with/without Smart to win games. We can't score and the ball sticks. How about we set up some plays instead of saying to IT4 and ET to go for it and pass only when you can't get yours. I'm sure we have plays but all I see is, they penetrate, go for a score for themselves and pass out when you can't. I want IT4 to look for his scoring first only when we have a lull, not every play. Offense by mistake. Some games it works but the better teams aren't worried about it.
It takes me 3hrs to get to Miami and 1hr to get to Orlando... but I *SPIT* on their NBA teams! "Bless God and bless the (Celts)"-Lady GaGa (she said gays but she really meant Celts)

Our offensive players aren't 1vs1 guys but what went wrong? players can't shoot consistently to save their lives this season. Telling you, our defense was meh last season (weren't we like 15th maybe 10th or something 2nd half) but our guys could shoot, I think mostly everyone who played avg about 10pts! 0.0 What happened?

Olin trying to collect a rebounding stat instead of letting the ball go out of bounds was the turning point in the game. Very frustrating.

Okay, I lied, I can't stop.

in all seriousness---is David Lee Shaving points---?

I'm done with him and Olynyk's wussy effort...Play Zeller instead of Lee.
Heck, give Mickey KO's minutes too.
Larry Bird was Greater than you think.

People have said it but why couldn't RJ stay in the game? You don't HAVE to put in starters, go with what was working. Keep him in for AB or for ET, should go by who is playing better. AB can't shoot lately, Hunta should have stayed in for him.

I thought the play that really stood out was Crowder turning it over on a dribble hand off...not sure how you manage to pull that off (though Crowder played a very good game overall).

It was Hunter's first game in two weeks.  Probably a bit of stamina/managing minutes was involved.

Only problem I have with Hunter right now is that athletic players can pretty much go right by him so that hurts your team defense.  He makes up for it a little bit with his court sense, but he's just not strong or fast enough right now to not hurt your team defense.  Of course when you give up 38 points in the 4th quarter with the game on the line, your problems run a lot deeper than one guy who may be a slightly below average defender at this point in his career.
