Can't guard the pick and roll, out scored badly in paint, Sully's man jumps over him for about 3 put backs per game, way too many TO's....ugh.  Team badly needs another consistent scorer to go with Thomas

  • GOT IT!!!
Definitely do not like what I'm seeing out of this team right now. They look like they've peaked already. Whole team looks discombobulated. A shake up might be a good thing.

  • Boston Celtics= Championships, nothing less.
This is where having IT can be an enormous roller coaster.
He is our only guy that can get high % looks on a consistent basis, but without Amir+Bradley+Crowder all out there, the ability to exploit him in the pick and roll often outweighs his net positives on the offensive end.

They must have scored 10 points this quarter nailing him in the pick and roll, forcing Crowder to cover the guard, leaving Millsap open, and then having Jerebko or Sully having to come over and help at the basket (leaving Bazemore/Millsap open).

Soooooo frustrating!!!
"We are lucky we have a very patient GM that isn't willing to settle for being good and coming close. He wants to win a championship and we have the potential to get there still with our roster and assets."

quoting 'Greg B' on RealGM after 2017 trade deadline.
Read that last line again. One more time.

I have a theory that Evan Turner, David Lee and Jerebko are all super nice people and it is why they're getting all their playing time.

Who are we going to draft this year with our Boston and Dallas picks?  We could have 3 top ten picks this year

So little upside playing Turner, Lee, and JJ.

Yea I thought the JJ stuff was done when Young took his minutes lately. :(

And can someone explain to me why Isaiah and RJ took just 17 shots (9/17) while Jerebko, Turner, and Lee took a combined 24 (6/24).
Isaiah, you were lightning in a bottle.

And it kills me that turner and JJ are STILL in the game...

Stevens probably going to make Turner the captain.

Also, we played the Warriors and the Cavs, the two best teams in the league, then we played the Pistons on a back to back with the Cavs.  The Pistons game was after only one day of rest and then this was after one day of rest.  Those are all good teams.  We're not a championship squad right now by any means, but this is a brutal part of our schedule.  The Pistons and the Hawks aren't exactly push overs.

This was a tough loss to take.  Just when I thought they could be one of top teams in the East, they go on to lose three straight.  At least Brooklyn lost though.

Well, I would be fine if the Hawks had played very good and we just couldn't handle it. That's not the case.. they played really bad most of the night, just explored the P&R. In fact, this was a terrible basketball game in a lot of standards..

Smart can't come back fast enough. At the very least, he helps with rotations and creating more stops, along with his leadership mentality.

Haha, TP for the laugh.

But yeah....I might be overreacting but I'd definitely take more losses in the short run if it means trading 'veterans' like Turner.

This team also lost to Brooklyn and almost lost to Philly.

Tonight's game illustrates why Sullinger can't be part of your long term plans.
