--Celtics recall Mickey, Rozier and Young from Maine

no game for 4 days.

don't forget tonight vs OKC. small chance that either Rozier or Mickey plays though

I was talking about Maine. Celts have a b2b.
It takes me 3hrs to get to Miami and 1hr to get to Orlando... but I *SPIT* on their NBA teams! "Bless God and bless the (Celts)"-Lady GaGa (she said gays but she really meant Celts)

Looking at those highlights they were down all game. If you have an NBA caliber guard in the D-League shouldn't he at least be able to control the game to some extent or make others around him better. Wasn't able to see any of that.

Rozier is a score 1st pg like IT

That is what Danny wanted.

That is what may work better under CBS system

-the big players have higher level perimeter skills/ability to shoot
-guards able to score

The Triboy smear campaign against James Young is on now that Young is competing with Mickey for an active roster spot.

I think it's more like a Triboy smear campaign against really bad players - James Young just happens to be one of those.

yes.  the main thing going for Young is his age.

Very inconsistent and inefficient still.   Even at NBDL level we are seeing 5-15 shooting

  • Boston Celtics= Championships, nothing less.
Mickey's shot looks great from three.
He's really working on his game and making himself a threat from all over the floor.
I love the dribble drive/spin that he finished with the left hand- that was a really soft touch.

He kind of looks like Chris Bosh out on the perimeter but with better defensive awareness but not as good in the post.

I just don't understand why we aren't giving minutes to this guy and giving minutes to David Lee.

Rozier looked unreal too.

Keep in mind that Joe Harris scored 31 points in this game too lol.
Horrible competition.
"We are lucky we have a very patient GM that isn't willing to settle for being good and coming close. He wants to win a championship and we have the potential to get there still with our roster and assets."

quoting 'Greg B' on RealGM after 2017 trade deadline.

Some nice post finishes by Mickey against bigger guys in those highlights.  I'm bullish on his potential.

905 = that is a team name for D-League team?

What a strange team name. Any idea why they are called that?

Edit: Oh, area code of team. Raptors 905. Strange. Do not like the name.

those spins and up and unders by Mickey is impressive.   Most big players don't even know how to execute a move like that

Mickey is about 5-10 pounds of muscle away from being a complete NBA player (hold position, rebounding consistentcy)

When I look at Rozier, I'm very impressed. He reminds me of a skinny Bledsoe.

I agree. Or a bigger IT.  I like the way he can drive and finish around the basket

Mickey, Rozier, Hunter's time will all come sooner than later.  We got 3 keepers

He reminds me of John Wall. The in and out game and hesitations with freakish bursts of speed, but with a really soft touch when needed.
Can get up and down the floor in 4 or 5 dribbles and finish.
