It looks like Young has been working on his floater. I would have rather seen him improve his handling instead because it was his bad handles that led him to pick up the ball early and take tough floaters last year. But an improved floater will serve him well for now.

And every time I see Young's smooth stroke in the D-League, I'm wondering where was this when he was fighting for a roster spot.

He had 14 rebounds today along with 20 points and 2 block shots.

I think I would have drafted just about anybody over Young - even Fab Melo (if he was in the same draft).

Ok that was an exaggeration...though considering our lack of size and rim protection I would actually have to give that decision some very serious thought, and I'm not entirely convinced that I WOULD choose Young. 

That's not a good sign for Young.

At least Fab could actually block NBA shots.  Young's only redeeming skill is his ability to shoot threes, and he seems completely incapable of that when he's on an NBA floor.

I dunno,  Young looked pretty good there.   He's got a smooth jumper.   I think he plays at a Paul Pierce type pace actually.

I liked those highlights from Young. It appears his problem is confidence. He's very aware of how much better he is than the regular D-leaguers. But when he steps into teh NBA he seems to go into a shell when he's aware that he isn't the best. He needs to grow that confidence that will drive him forward at NBA level. I don't see a reason why he couldn't produce these same moves in the NBA if he grew in confidence.

like to see some clips of defence and agression not much elevation or burst -like to see more footage coming off screens  not just catch and shoots-also its his defence that may make him insecure on court and effects his shooting-
