Jordan Mickey highlights from yesterday.  It's a good one.  Nice to see he has incorporated a 3 pt shot into his game.  19 pts, 7 bs

Rozier - 29 points

3blks off of a triple double for Mickey and Roze went to the line 14 times.
It takes me 3hrs to get to Miami and 1hr to get to Orlando... but I *SPIT* on their NBA teams! "Bless God and bless the (Celts)"-Lady GaGa (she said gays but she really meant Celts)

Rozier and Mickey are NBA players.  Good to see them dominating the D-League.

Wish the D-League could tell us more.

youngs d is still horrible against canton-rozier hits threes almost as well as young-
-rozier seems side to side  with those long arms his crossover seems like it should be shortened-my son 6-5 point guard with huge wingspan could never get him to shorten his crossover all the wasted time looking like x box-boomboom  and  be gone-like isaiah

My biases, in order of fervor:
Pro:
Smart, Brown, Hayward, Tatum, Kemba, Grant Williams, Sleepy Williams, Edwards!

Anti:

Played quite poorly yesterday:
32 min, 14 points on 5-16 fg (3-10 3pt) 2 rebounds and 1 assist.

Former Celtics player Perry Jones III also made his debut yesterday for the Iowa Energy. It wasn't a pretty one to say the least: 18 min, 0 points, 0-5 fg, 2 rebounds and 3 TO :o

Once Young starts hitting shots in real NBA games I think we will see him playing more and actually helping. Summer League he just straight up missed open 3's....we know he can hit from NBA range so it may be more of a mental or confidence thing.

watch his defense against canton-the first quarter he was just a step to slow and playing catchup- forget the threes-he will be a defensive liability and tighten up on his threes
young must learn to play defence then he will start hiting-

I thought it was really encouraging to see Mickey hit a 3. There is a huge difference between a big man who can only get his offense in the pick and roll v.s. a player who can knock down 3's and drive close outs.

It is a lot easier to play a big who can score in the paint and from the perimeter than a big like Zeller who needs to be surrounded by floor spacers to be effective.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

Can't take a ton from D-League, but you obviously want your boys to play well.

One thing though is that I like the look of Rozier's shot.  Smart also came into the league with the thought that he couldn't shoot and outperformed that, but at times he does put up some ugly looking shots.  I feel like Rozier looks better than Smart in that regard.  His shots in general look quite nice.

Especially if you are undersized.
