He keeps saying Stauskas looks good too, which really isn't true either.

Maybe he thinks 34% from the field and 28% from 3 is good?

You can pretty much sum up LB33 with the way he posts about the Celtics and Sixers.

The C's have 3 unprotected picks from the Nets, but those are whatever no big deal. The Sixers have 2 pick swaps in 16 and 17, which won't even be used, and a top 10 protected pick from the Kings and they suddenly have "all the Kings picks". He's a character.

Stauskas has been pretty active, but isn't shooting well.
2025 Historical Draft - Cleveland Cavaliers - 1st pick

Starters - Luka, JB, Lebron, Wemby, Shaq
Rotation - D. Daniels, Mitchell, G. Wallace, Melo, Noah
Deep Bench - Korver, Turner

Ive actually watched Stauskas play this season and I'm surprised what a poor athlete he is. I expected his handles to be better. Defensively he's atrocious. I can say without hesitation that RJ Hunter is a better player today. Both the same age too.

Haven't read the thread but chiming in:

I'd trade any mishmash of assets and players who aren't named Marcus Smart for Cousins. I'd even give up all the BKN unprotected picks we have. If we have a Smart+Cousins core, we are set for the future. We can worry about the rest of the roster later. Besides, DA is pretty good at finding role players.

That's right thinking .......TP ......that's how To build a team

Cousins / Smart  / CBS .......we could attract a Wiggins like SF and contend in the East .

That would be idiotic.  It wouldn't attract free agents and that team would be a perennial mess.  How do I know this?  Look at the Kings since they have had DMC.  They have had better players than Smart around him and they haven't won anything.  Are all the free agents flocking to the Kings even though they are a nice warm weather spot?  No.  They stink, they stink every year, and no superstars are heading in there to join DMC.

I think the Kings management are the main culprits for the team being a perennial mess.

And also, citing an example of an all-star-level player who hasn't won much isn't really valid, IMO. So does that mean you wouldn't trade for a guy like Drummond or Anthony Davis? After all, what free agents are flocking to Detroit or New Orleans? Yet, I'd still trade whatever assets (except possibly Smart) to acquire either of the AD's.

Stauskas looks better than I thought he would.

I like that you made my Brooklyn quote your signature.  I hope it ends up dead wrong.
