  • GOT IT!!!
Watching this Spurs/Warriors game, I'm starting to become more and more convinced that the Spurs can't beat the Warriors in a 7-game series.  I used to think the Spurs were the only team that could possibly beat them, now I think the Warriors would win that series in 6.

It's still fun to watch the playoffs, but on a macro level, honestly they may as well just give the Warriors the title now.  Nobody's beating them.

Spurs may not even get past OKC. This is the definitely the slowest SA team they've had. Tony Parker my goodness does he stink now.

GS is going to get to 73 major props. Didn't think they'd do it after that Minnesota loss.

Well, they're going to break the record. I really thought that San Antonio would come out with more effort tonight. Well-done.

There's also the fact that GS is 3-1 vs SAS in the season now with their one win not being all that convincing anyways, so you wonder how much that will weigh psychologically.

It's awesome that even years from now we can say we beat a 72+ win team at home

Looks like the Celtics need to get to the Finals.

Cleveland are going to be embarrassed by Golden State.

Yeah, even with Love and Kyrie back I think they're playing even worse than last year right now and GS is even better. That's a bad combo.

I agree, they are worse. They also have a worse coach. I think it'll come down to whether or not they lose in 5 or less.

Toronto needs to step it up in New York - tied with 2:48 to go. There's still an outside chance of them getting the first seed, but they have to win out, including tonight. We're rooting for that, because then we'd avoid Cleveland until the ECF at the earliest.

OKC didn't play Durant or Westbrook tonight, so even though the Thunder showed pluck in taking SA to OT, the Spurs are about to prevail, thus tying them with Boston for all-time-best single-season home record of 40-1.

Thanks, OKC.

Looks like tonight is the last night for this thread! It's been nice everyone  ;D

I'll be focusing on five different games tonight while everyone else in the world is watching either the 83-9 game or the Kobe game lol.

And the five games are:
Celtics-Heat, Hawks-Wizards, Magic-Bobcats, Raptors-Nets, Clippers-Suns.

Those two games will be after the earlier three games, so it's all good!

Apparently there's no word yet on who will play from Washington, though I imagine Wall, Beal, and Morris will all sit out again like they did their last game. And all of the Raptors' players are sitting, too. Any news on if the Clippers' players will be playing? I can't imagine so after playing last night and this game being inconsequential for them.

I posted in the "lets go raptors" thread. But clippers starters are resting
I could very well see the Hawks... starting Taurean Prince at the 3, who is already better than Crowder, imo.

Okay, Celtics fans, only one more game of this Kobe love-fest to endure.

Is anyone else as annoyed this year with this whole Kobe thing as much as me? I just can't take it anymore. But just wait until Lebron's swan song final year..

I haven't spent much time paying attention to the Kobe lovefest.  Whenever I'm reminded of it, I just get happy because I know that one of the most unrepentant and unlikable ball-hog chuckers in league history will soon be out of the league.

As a non-Red Sox fan, I'm feeling the same way about David Ortiz's last spring training, last opening day of the season, last home opener,  etc. etc. etc., and this goes on for about another 150+ games. Double puke!
