Do we want the Lakers to defeat the Warriors, who have a legitimate chance at NBA history, for the sake of getting the Nets closer to a better pick?
The only 2 things that really matter to me in the NBA are the Celtics winning and the Lakers losing.  Since a Laker win is possibly bad for the Lakers (wiining streak please), I want LA to win.

If Phoenix pulls this one out, too, that's awesome, and it could potentially mean that they're still in play to at least tie the Nets. The interim coach has absolutely no interest in losing and wants to win every game possible to try and keep his job. Finally, something works out for us regarding the Nets' competitors!

I don't really think the Lakers have any chance of finishing with a better record than Brooklyn at this point, so I'm not overly ecstatic about their win over Golden State.

However, Phoenix beating Memphis today is huge! They're now only a game ahead of Brooklyn for the 3rd worst record.

Alex Len has been BEASTING under the new coach. The Suns are going to pull off a fair number of wins down the stretch.

  • Boston Celtics= Championships, nothing less.
Did the Lakers really just beat GSW?
And the Suns won?

Weeeeeeeeeeee
"We are lucky we have a very patient GM that isn't willing to settle for being good and coming close. He wants to win a championship and we have the potential to get there still with our roster and assets."

quoting 'Greg B' on RealGM after 2017 trade deadline.
Read that last line again. One more time.

So you've now said multiple times.  I think you may have a passive-aggressive streak in you. Not because you are wrong, just based on what you choose to highlight.

Randle-Russel-Simmons would be a pretty great core. Probably a notch below Towns-Wiggins-Lavine.
but..
Towns>Simmons
Wiggins>Russell
Lavine <Randle

Luckily for us, the Lakers are not likely to land Simmons.

He just beat the Warriors.  It's worth repeating.  Kid has been very impressive since Byron Scott finally stopped stunting him and started letting him play 6 games ago.  Future star.

Great wins by the Sun and Nuggets beating Dallas.

Nets may still have a shot at the 3rd worst. Other than the 2 games against Philly the Nets have a some what tough schedule.

You mean Clarkson beat the Warriors? 6 games is a small sample size, If Marcus Smart did the same thing, will you label him as a future star?

maybe, but at this point i am not sure they could win even if someone were to clone the team and have them play against themselves.  ;D
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.
