Whiteside is playing, but Winslow is out.  Miami up by one.

So far, the Nets have been double teaming Dragic to some success, but it seems like the Heat just figured it out and are adjusting.

Whiteside is..... not the smartest player.

I hate to admit it, but Lopez does look good down low offensively. I really hope he isn't able to will his team up a couple of spots.
Recovering Joe Skeptic, but inching towards a relapse.

Lopez has always been a good low post player.

Young is very good posting up too, he's averaging 16 ppg / 7 rpg this year after only having 1 double double last year.  The upside of this though is that posting up is the ONLY thing Brooklyn does really well.  You can see this strength hurting them at the end of games, because it's so predictable.  They only have one reliable way to score and in 2015, it can be taken away.

They're okay at defense, but that's about it, otherwise.

Did Dragic forget how to play when he was traded to Miami? If Dragic doesnt recover his Phoenix selfe the Heat will not go far this year.

Brooklyn has a way of making every game so ugly.

Being one of the worst three point shooting teams in the league will make any game ugly.

It looks like Miami is giving Stoudamire and Udrih some run against a bad opponent.  Miami seems to be coasting pretty hard this game from what I can see.

Also, like 90% of the Nets' points this game are all cherry picks.  The Heat aren't even bothering to get back.

Neither team seems to care about this game at all, with the Heat up 14.  This is the Nets team we've been waiting for.  They look totally lackadaisical and if it weren't for cherry picking by the Nets for some of the easiest buckets I've seen all year, this would be a 25 point game right now.

I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

Oh, the strange things this Nets pick has done to me.  I was thrilled with a Lakers win over Brooklyn.  I was just as happy to see LeBron hit a game winner to sink the Nets in Cleveland.  And now I'm cheering for DWade - my least favorite player next to Kobe Bryant - and every basket that he makes and every flop that he gets a whistle for.

Great 2nd quarter from the Heat.  Hopefully they don't become complacent and let the lead slip in the 2nd half.
