Jeez, can we see the guy play some meaningful NBA minutes before we send him to Springfield? ::)

Not interested in him starting, but I would like to see him be the backup 2 (behind Bradley). I prefer him than Turner for his ability to spread the floor and allow Thomas room to operate in high PnR's.

Big RJ fan but starting him is a mistake. He fits the 2nd unit so much better and as a skinny rookie he would get run over by everyone taller than 6'2-6'3.
The Nets will finish with the worst record and the Celtics will end up with the 4th pick.

I'd put a lot more stock in "the case for someday starting RJ Hunter" than the case for starting him now.  He looks nice and composed out there, we're all feeling pretty optimistic, but the regular season is a very different animal, and let's not forget he's was out there against (JJ excluded) some of the worst wings in the Eastern conference, and likely one of the worst teams.

Irrational optimism is a lot more fun than irrational pessimism, but it's still irrational.

If Bradley gets hurt during the season , well into the season , and RJ progresses ,  keeps working , doing the right team things on and off the court .  I can see him getting the call to step up.

60 games in Rozier and Hunter could be sharing some decent minutes with the starters if they keep progressing .   Mickey is destined to take Sullys place , if Sully doesn't have a drastic turn a round .

I like all three of our picks better than the Lakers one so far .

RJ ....is made for CBS and his style of play.    Mickey and Rozier too.
