Also reported that they will meet with David West.

Could be an interesting team.

Grant / Calderon - Afflalo - Melo - West / Porzingis - Monroe

It looks like were gonna strike out in not only draft night but free agency. This sucks.

In the abstract, of course he'd prefer to be in New York. Let's see how things shake out after he's actually met with teams.

Monroe is too perfect, on paper, for the Knicks for them to let him slide.

Nothing new here. Knicks has been the front-runners since before the season ended. Color me underwhelmed.

But we'll see how it goes.

I think Monroe and Harris are our best chance to get a lot better this year. If we lose out on Monroe to the stinking Knicks I won't be happy.

Our spaced out system is better for him, we have a brighter future, a better coach and a better run organization.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

Nothing new here. It's on Danny and Brad now to sell him on Boston.

I would agree that we have the better organization. Stevens is probably a better coach, but we can't tell about Fisher right now given the roster.

That Knicks team will still suck.

Probably.  But they'll be a lot closer to the level of "suck" that the Celts and Nets are currently at, as opposed to bottom-of-the-barrell suck.

I'm betting they won't strike out, but instead hit an infield single by signing Kosta Koufos.

Either that, or solve the roster issues by making trades to reallocate assets and open up playing time for youngsters.
