Somewhere a fellow blogger will remeber the label:  Crock Rivers. This cracked me up when I first heard it, and still does.

The true winner here is the viewing fans...which will be spared the idiotic ravings and theatrics of Balmer in the crowd. What a loon.

Well heck they have BIG BABY...!!!A major force to be reckoned with.LOL.... McHale did a GREAT job.....Houston has The beard......and not a lot else....but, you motivate them, pair them with the right other players to compliment strengths, and cover weaknesses....and you WIN......It figures McHale would do it, he knows the deal.....!!!

It makes a person wonder how the hell they had that winning streak when Blake was out. I kept thinking that Clips pick around 21 is going to be a nice asset from Doc wanting his walking papers. They beat the defending champs, only to blow a 3-1 series lead...to a team with one major star and a center who shoots free throws as poorly as their own.

I'm personally glad to be spared the inevitable PR, feel good articles about how Steve Balmer, Doc Rivers and Co. were able to transform the Clippers into a championship team once freed from the racist rule of Donald Sterling.

You know there would have been tons of those, and you know the Clippers performance this year (even if they had won the whole thing) had nothing to do with ownership (or the change thereof).

Well "not a lot else" brought the Rockets back and won game 6 without the "beard".





I agree, Doc the GM lost this.  No depth to speak of.  No alternative in a close game for Jordan when the play the foul game. 



Doc the Coach need Ainge if he wants to win.
