I think we will have to target a guy who wants to be the man.   We don't have weather, or media opportunities like music or movies.  We need a guy who wants to be the man and have his team, then get him to play team ball once he is here.  I am not sure that guy is out there this year.

But a guy who wants to be the man might think he is missing ingredient on the team.   I think that is our best shot because, these guys play hard, but no one is a huge draw to play with.  IT needs the ball in his hands to be effective.   A lot of the other guys are meh.

Maybe a guy in CANADA will want to escape taxes?  Who I am kidding it is called Taxuschusetts by some.

That person was Okafor. Unfortunately we decided it would be best to go for it. Great underdog story that ends with hurting the franchise long term. The best FA to hope for us Middleton who will not come to Boston for under a max deal or one of the RFAs who will use Boston only as leverage. Face it, the draft is the only way to get a franchise player in Boston. Weather is awful. Nightlife is awful. Taxes suck. No endorsement opportunities. But hey we have 17 banners!!! Please...

What the team have achieved so far this season is part of what any prospective FA will think about. But it won't carry as much weight as; contract money, who else is signing and how good the coach is looking. Not his personal appearance, as a NBA coach.

It certainly could be something that sways a FA our way as the players obviously enjoy playing in Boston and play for each other. Despite the weather, night life arguments etc I think we need to use what we have to attract at least two FAs. Half the season is spent in other cities anyway and nobody says that because you play for a team it will be where you settle forever.

I think we have a good opportunity to attract someone.

Well we obviously need a scorer who can get his own, and everyone seems to have the green light.  What's not to love here

Are guys like Eric Gordon and old pal Big Al guys who might help us?  They seem attainable.

"All that team needs is a number one scorer.  I know I can be that guy, don't want to spend my prime years as a role player"

This would be a much better forum if you didn't post in it.

DeAndre Jordan as Tristan Thompson has been KILLING us on the boards.
[/quote]Zeller needs to play stronger on the boards.

I could probably say that about most of our bigs, but we need Zeller to step up on the boards. He's got the most length and is getting the majority of chances. He's just getting beat off the boards.

He is not a physical center. Serviceable backup that is it.

Liberty ballets is calling your name man.

On another thread I saw you call this C's playoff performance embarrassing.

Embarrassing is intentionally losing to get  a draft pick, not losing by a reasonable margin to the title favorites. At this point you are just trolling. Please stop.

We could use scorers at 2 positions.

Ball handling guard/scoring PG okay.  Scoring SF or C welcome. Post players encouraged to apply.

Who are the sub-allstars that would come here to play to their strengths, as a pair of resold good players.
