Draymond Green fouled the crap out of Trevor Ariza. Tripped him up. Grabbed him and stopped him from getting up and getting back into the play. Refs more concerned about a fight breaking out than actually calling whether there was a foul there or not.

Houston holding their own 8v5..

Eh? Draymond did foul Ariza, but I don't see this 8 v 5 thing? It seems like the calls are even.

Nope, counted Curry's hoop on that play.   Harden living in the paint, no call after no call.  Six ft's all night?   That's about half his average.   Meanwhile Houston picking up fouls on box outs when GS misses.    Pretty clear home team bias to the naked eye despite their keeping the box score about even.

It could also be argued that, for once, Harden isn't getting a bunch of cheap calls where he initiates the contact but gets rewarded for it.
I'd buy that, had Curry been given the same treatment tonight.   That push-off to 3pt-leg swing he had was particular entertaining.

Isn't the league suppose to be fining for flops?

Yeah, they are. Then again, remember how, a couple years ago, they were giving more technical fouls at the beginning of the season, and that pretty much stopped by the end of the season? I also think the league is loathe to fine any of its stars for flopping.

Rockets are simply great at drafting players and build solid bench around their best players. They are just not good enough in the defense event.
GS won this one on defense and with a bit of help from the referees.
Too bad Howard gets hurt, it narrows down Houston winning chance (which wasn't high at first).

How about Capela as future Celtics starting center?

Trade the #16 for him? The #16 and #28?

Since I am Swiss, I would love to see Capela on the Cs. His game is raw but he has been impressive in the postseason when given a chance.

Speaking of Swiss players: The Hawks may really miss Sefolosha against the Cavs. Such a shame he is injured...

Interesting. I'm kinda surprised.

Got some of the picks wrong along the way, but I predicted this matchup for the ECF.  Picked Atlanta to win in 6.  Don't make a jerk out of me ATL.

Great to see Jeff Teague knock down an early shot. He has struggled for most of the playoffs. He is the main key to Atlanta's offense. His dribble penetration. His drive and kick game. He is the one who gets the other guys the ball in time and space.

I disagree with Reggie Miller and Chris Webber. Tristan Thompson is a talented perimeter defender. I think they are selling him short saying that he cannot defend Millsap. I think T.Thompson does well against those combo forward and undersized PF type players.

And so it has begun.  James with a blatant pushoff on that post move to create space and an easy basket.

Hawks looking good so far. They're looking much more like the Hawks during the season than the playoffs Hawks so far.

I think Cleveland's best lineup in this series is:

PG: Kyrie
SG: JR Smith
SF: Iman Shumpert
PF: LeBron James
 C: Tristan Thompson

Get more quickness on the floor defensively to cover Al Hoford more effectively than a guy like Mozgov is capable of.

Teague is going to be a challenge for Irving to defend this series with his quickness, especially with his injury.

Great effort getting back on defense by Shumpert to strip Carroll and deny an easy dunk.

Surprised it is not Shumpert defending Teague.
