can someone help me understand

How are the Bulls and Cavs ready to play in the next round when the Hawks and Nets series is not even over??

If the Nets somehow pull it off, shouldn't the Cavs be playing them?? (2nd vs 8th seed)

It goes by a bracket, not like in the NFL.

1 vs 8
Plays winner of
4vs 5

2 vs 7
Playas winner of
3 vs 6

I know that is the way it is , but it doesn't make sense .  Maybe I haven't noticed this before lol

I mean why should a 5th seeded team play the 8th seed and have a easier time getting to the ECF

If the Spurs are going to win, Belinelli, Mills, and Diaw are going to have to do it, because they've gotten nothing from Parker, Duncan, Ginobili, or Leonard.  Seriously, where are these guys?  Even their crowd seems disinterested.  Almost asleep, really.  San Antonio does realize that winning a game 7 on the road is next to impossible, right?

Edit - Pop is a tool.

The winner of Nets and Hawks series play Washington Wizards. If Nets win, Wizards host Game 1. If Hawks win, Hawks host Game 1.

I guess in terms of seed strength, the 5th seed upset the 4th, and the 8th seed upset the 1st so as a "reward", they get an easier time with each other (but doesn't really matter since they all made it this far in the playoffs).

The Spurs are in trouble.  They have no legs and look absolutely dead in the water.  Almost like our game 6 against the Knicks in 2013, or game 6 in 2012.  The difference is that the Spurs are deep, right?

C: Griffin
F: Barnes
G: Redick
G: Crawford
G: Paul

Clippers looking a lot like those Phoenix Suns teams of 2005-2007. Causing the Spurs a lot of problems. Tim Duncan too slow to check Blake Griffin. Reluctant to leave him. Hurting the Spurs team defense in major way. Big advantage for LAC.

And Doc brings D.Jordan back in.
Surprised he went away from a lineup that was doing so well for them.

Tell me about it.Griffin is super aggressive at both ends, and they're just letting him play like that.

I'm not sure why they didn't hack-a-Jordan much sooner.
