Eddie20 your wish will come true.  Kaminsky will drop a little  now and Danny will pick him on draft night

I hope not. Not that he's a bad player, but he doesn't fill a need and has limited upside.

He still has a 9'1 or 9'2 reach. Def higher  max vertical than KO

Better 3 pt shooter and will be a better/confident scorer than KO. Better shot blocker than KO

We could use him limited upside or not imo

I don't think he's a better shooter. College 3's are different than NBA 3's.

Bottom line, we need to go for home run type picks not a sacrifice fly that, best case scenario, improves the PF marginally.

How are you improving at the pf spot marginally??

Say we have two KO like pfs. Not exact same. If one is struggling than the other can come in and give you what you want( stretch the floor)

I know you want balance. I would like that also but getting a lengthy guy that cant move very well like Turner does not solve  the issue. Very hard to score a home run with the 16.

In the end we will see what Danny does. He might like Kaminsky so much (what he hoped KO become) and then trade KO instead

If it's between Kaminsky and other higher ceiling guys like Dekker, Hollis-Jefferson, Booker, etc., I'm taking the higher ceiling guys.

Kaminsky just doesn't fit with our roster makeup. He has the same weaknesses our current PF's, Sullinger and Olynyk, have and is best suited for the 4 spot at the next level. His weaknesses won't be masked next to them, instead they'll be accentuated.

Conversely, "if you have two KO like PF's" and one is getting murdered defensively, you could bring the other one in and he can get murdered too.

That's like buying 2 guns in case the 1st gun jams. It's a lot smarter to buy a better gun in the first place.

How do you buy a better gun with 16??

Booker, rhj , dekker , kaminsky all of plus and minus

Kaminsky at least carried his little to no talent wisconsin team to a elite 8 and finals.  People think this is a piece of cake or something.  You add the skills he brings to the table for his size snd im happy with picking him at 16.

"No talent Wisconsin team"? Dekker and Hayes?

I've learned that when you like a guy all bets are off. Last year, you were enamored with Gordon calling him "a higher IQ Blake Griffin" and he fell flat on his face. This year, your guy is Kaminsky and you'll do the same thing. I mean just read some of your comments on him during this thread. You were convinced that he had a "7-2 or longer wingspan" when clearly it was pedestrian at best. Sure enough, he has a poor wingspan. Now, according to you his team was talentless. Again, I give you credit for sticking to your guns, but it usually hinders your objectivity.

While I agree re: objectivity, I think it's important to point out that Triboy was the only one on the whole blog (I believe) who called Gordon going in the top 4.
At least a goldfish with a Lincoln Log on its back goin' across your floor to your sock drawer has a miraculous connotation to it.

Dekker is overrated. Basically another jerebko(not a bad thing either)

Hayes helped but at no point carried wisc

What about last season??

You think Kaminsky was like nothing during these two tourneys. Give cr where its due man.

Btw Aaron has 2-3 years to prove his worth.  Your not seriously calling him a bust after 1 season are you?

No, not yet. However, after one year he looks a lot closer to being a bust than he does to the star you had envisioned him. I think even you'll agree with that. He's the anti-stretch 4.
