Bobby Portis is pretty darn good. He has had monster games all year including in the tourney with 18/14 game in losing to a 4th seeded UNC. He was the SEC player of the year and he is only a sophomore. We would be lucky to draft him outside top 10 he has Chris Bosh potential.
His comparison I've seen is Greg Monroe so both comparisons are good. Not that it means anything once they get to the NBA. If we go outside top 10 and WCS, Winslow, or Oubre are all gone, I'd take Portis. Probably over Turner or Kaminsky too.
You guys simply must have seen a different Portis than the soft and poor shooting (5-15) guy I saw that was virtually invisible on defense (other than his five steals), allowing dunk after dunk by younger UNC players.

P.S. Also, you must simply NOT be watching Kaminsky. Yes, he is skinny, but, wow, he is an efficient player. I will be very interested to see how he plays against UNC's talented and athletic front lines. That will tell me what I need to know about Frank and whether we should look at him in this draft. I am already hedging yes, but you need to SHOW ME Frank:-))!!
