Easily Crowder, but I'd like to see Bass back at a favorable contract. Regarding a max deal, do you really want to pay for Love? I'm not sure that would be best use of our money going forward. May be more useful to sit tight for a bit longer and wait for a better player and/or prospect.

I'm on the Bass bandwagon as far as, he could be a bit player in a Championship team. Crowder has posted good numbers in some games and could also be useful going forward.

Overall, their best contribution could be to clear space for better players. None are vital, though all are capable. The Celtics wont lose a Championship by losing any of them, they could win one with the players they make way for.

I voted for Jae only because i could only vote for one. Crowder and jerebko both need to be back with the C's next year imo. Crowder is the only SF we have and i love jerebko's tenacity and smooth jumper. Neither of them are afraid to shoot the ball like KO either.

How much do you guys think Crowder would run us, especially with a solid showing as he's been if we were to make the playoffs?

the more of those guys we sign, the less cap space we have for a max deal.

Maybe Ainge's plan involves being willing to sign a couple of Isaiah Thomas-level guys on affordable contracts instead of a max contract "star".

Crowder is both the most important to keep and the player cheapest to keep. Jarebko has been coming down to earth after a very hot start, i would like to see him back at the right price, and more importantly for the right number of guaranteed years. Datome to me is a vet minimum type player, not worth more then the bi-annual exception. Bass is a solid rotation player but without a real 3 point shot he limits you some offensively, hes also a weak team defender. i would still like him back and depending on who we draft and if we move KO (Sullinger has tanked his trade value so i dont see him being moved) i would be willing to go over the non tax player mid level. a 3 year deal with team option(s) or non guaranteed over the last year(s) would be my preference.
Am I the only one that thinks Bass is actually an underrated defender for us? I mean without him guys like Aldridge, Griffin,D West would eat us alive

Crowder cuz he is still young
And is probably the 4th best defender on our team behind Bradley, smart and bass

He still has some potential as a more consistent bench contributor and I like his hustle which kind of defines our team
We're not the most talented, experienced or strongest but we have the hustle to stay in games and make them competitive

Make a priority of resigning Bass and Crowder, then try to get Datome and Jerebko back. I would love to see Bass staying here, he is our most consistent player, has gone through a tough situation for years and never complained or caused locker-room issues.

Plus, if Danny didn't find any viable deal to ship Bass to a contender for the past two years, it's clear that he belongs here, hopefully without overpaying him.

tricky. we clearly need more size and talent in the frontcourt than we have now to be a serious contender, and 3 of these 4 guys are essentially bench 4s. and so is Olynyk.

~~ I think I'm finally convinced Sullinger gets traded (and I doubt for much but it happens anyway) if Ainge make meaningful offers to any of Crowder / Jerebko / Bass;

~~ I expect Danny to ask Bass for a substantial hometown discount, which considering Bass' personality, he just might take;

~~ Jerebko is the kind of player Ainge really likes: a defined NBA role skillset. I'd bet they'll try hard to keep him as a 4-5 off the bench. If they can't attract a marquee FA this summer, I could see Danny overpaying him on a one-year deal with a team option for 2016 in order to keep him.

~~ Crowder's tough. You simply cannot overpay a guy like Jae, and some team less disciplined team may certainly do so. Look for Ainge to talk publicly about how they'll match offers for him, then pray nobody makes one so they can keep him at the Qualifying Offer.
