Cavs win in OT as Kawhi Leonard misses two foul shots with less than 5 seconds left in the game that would have won it for the Spurs.  Irving also added 5 assists, 4 steals, 3 rebounds and turned it over just 2 times.  James went for 31p 7a 5r in the game as well.

Parker led the Spurs with an incredible game himself getting 31 points on 15-23 from the field (0 for 1 from three and just 1 of 3 from the line) 6 assists and 5 rebounds.

This was the type of game that makes you just love basketball.  Two heavyweights going back forth all game long with some incredible individual performances.

"But it took him 32 shots to score 57!"

...and an increasingly irrelevant Kevin Love gets 8 and 5 while sitting most of the 4th.  Blatt really seems to be done with him at this point.

Kyrie's shooting from 3 was amazing though, not as pure a stroke as Klay's big game a couple months ago, but higher difficulty - stepping back, falling away, turning into the release...didn't matter, he swished everything.  Incredible.

Crazy game, they were guarding/contesting him and he still made everything.

Love is at the point where he's going to leave.

I think if he leaves it will be beneficial for both Love and the Cavs, as they can use that money for somene that fits much better into their lineup.

Turns 23 this month

Imagine if they kept Wiggins ..... :o

Cavs really don't USE or really  need KLove........his talents are wasted on the bench

They should have kept Wiggins and got a better center rim protector .

Yeah Love was wasting away on the bench and then Blatt puts him in, in  the middle of OT. If Cavs had lost the game in regulation please believe Love being benched the entire 4th would be a big story today.

The end of the fourth strongly reminded me of the end of Game 6 of the 2013 Finals—the game that the Spurs should've won, and which would've given them the title over Miami, but they completely choked the last few minutes with missed free throws and other silly mistakes.

Same this time: Leonard fouls Irving for an and-1 with 56 seconds left, then Leonard misses two free throws that would've given SA a 5-point lead with 4 seconds left.
There are two kinds of people: those who say to God, 'Thy will be done,' and those to whom God says, 'All right, then, have it your way.'

You don't have a soul. You are a Soul. You have a body.

Rondo sucks I get that, no need to have him shoved down their throats EVERY time a point guard has a good game.

Still, they gave up quite a bit for him. That'd still be a huge loss if he leaves, and I still think they could better utilize him.

No, this is funny because it was a hotly debated topic back in the youthful days of the 2014 season, and it's already laughable.
