Sullinger out-played Green the entire year.
   That isn't saying much.

IT is better than both of them.

Beyond the weight issues...what's concerning is how the Celtic's are playing without him. It's like as soon as the C's lost Rondo, Green, and Sully, they have an identity, and are playing good ball. We miss him as an offensive option, but his lazy, and poor defense is magnified during this run of solid wins.

I think we should package Sully with a draft pick and see what pops up.

Sully was arguably the best player on the team all year, including Rondo/Green.  His talents are not something we should let go of so easily.

He has acknowledged his conditioning issues and hopefully will correct that.

how can you take him seriously, he said it last year too.

Quote
WALTHAM — This is Jared Sullinger’s first summer as an NBA player in which he is not dealing with back issues, and he plans to capitalize on being healthy by making himself a more productive player.

The burly forward, entering his third season, said a physical transformation will ensure he is fresher in the late stages of games. Sullinger, who Wednesday practiced with the Celtics’ summer league squad (although he will not play), wants to begin next season in career-best condition.

“I think conditioning was a big factor,” he said. “Late in the game, I’d get tired and stop doing the things that I normally do in the first quarter. I think conditioning will kind of help that out. It’s another opportunity to play against other guys and kind of push myself to another limit, work on things that I don’t normally work on by myself and then I’ve got bodies out here. Going against bodies, pushing myself through contact. So everything is kind of helping me with conditioning.”                          JULY 03, 2014

Sullinger doesn’t look considerably lighter, but said that isn’t a concern.

“Not really focused on weight. More shape,” he said. “How long I can run, how fast I can run. Pretty much how long I can stay on the court without passing out. I’m working on that every day. I think I’ve got quick feet for my size. Losing weight and getting in better shape is only going to enhance that.” JULY 03, 2014

BTW, I have a bridge I will sell you on the cheap if want it, it is in New Jersey and Chris Christy personnally had it closed.   Your not that naive?   You are when it comes to Sully as that quote was from last year.

I still think even if he gets his act together, and no one wants him to fail I don't think, he is deeply flawed.   Thing is he has talent.   But he is not athletic and has character issues regarding professionalism.   He missed the bus literally a few times this year.  He did not get into shape, if he does it again this year Ainge will send him packing.

I don't think he was ever our best player save 1-2 games where he did really well. The game vs. he Kings comes to mind with the Rondoless Celtics.
It's contract year. He showed up to the draft combine in the shape of his life, so it's quite likely he  may report to camp next season likewise. I'd stay away from him; there are better ways to spend your cap.
"I don't know half of you half as well as I should like; and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve."

Again with the misinformation. The Celtics were already playing well WITH Sullinger before he got injured. Aside from that, we had an influx of new players after Sullinger got injured so there's really nothing to compare in the "with Sully vs without Sully" department.

We can dislike Sullinger, etc., etc. But the myth that the team began playing better without Sully has to stop, it's simply factually incorrect.
