Yes for all the reasons mentioned. Also I like the idea of being a team other teams hate to play because you will be in their face all game and make if difficult for them to do what they want. I don't mind being hated by other fans - 'makes you stronger' is the phrase I think.

Watching games where we were behind and knowing that once KG was back in the game, it would change - that is the kind of faith in a player fans love to have.

No KG, no title in 08. We all saw how that team went in the playoffs once he was injured.

For me it was the big two that mattered most, KG and The Truth.

It will be interesting to see which city raises his number first.

Frankly, if Garnett finishes his career in Minnesota, heck, even buys the team as some have rumored, then I believe they should be the ones to do it first.

Before going back to Minnesota, I would have said that there should be a double number ceremony for both Pierce and KG (I'll leave the third rail that is Ray Allen alone in this discussion so as not to change subjects).

So my answer is yes...the only question will be when.

NO ABSOLUTELY NOT!

When he went back to the Timberwolves he violated the unwritten space / time laws that magically undid all of the hard work, commitment and years he spent washing away the previous 21 non title suffering with Pitino seasons! If he had gone anywhere else, Charlotte, Sacramento, not the Lakers, but the Clippers would have been okay, it would have been fine, but in returning home he has undone everything!

Naw, he's good.  ;) Couldn't be happier for the guy, always nice to go home. I just wish when his number was raised there could be a tiny little corner that said "Bill Walton wore this number and helped win 1986".
