Completely disagree with the tank. A losing culture in the locker room can be hard to overcome if you allow it to continue.

Thomas will replace Sullinger's scoring.
partially.  he'll most likely replace some of it while taking some of AB's.  Also need to make up for Thornton's scoring.

what no one will replace is his rebounding

Yeah, rebounding will be near impossible to replace with this roster.

Tankers may get their wish after all.

Excellent news. With Sullinger out we could have a shot at saving face and getting the 6th seed with some clutch losses, We are only 1 loss back of being tied for 6 I believe

YYYEEEEEESSSSSSSSSS THANKYOU Sweet Heavenly Tank commanders!
Now just let Olynyk take another 10 games to recover and we are back in the hunt for a top 5 pick come lottery night!

Poor Brad Stevens just can't catch a break-no matter how hard he tries to will these pitiful bums to  the playoffs, the Celtic leprechaun in the rafters just won't let him p--- away our lottery chances.

As I said in another thread, this is a great time to showcase Zeller, Olynyk and James Young as potential trade fodder in playing time they may otherwise not get.
"We are lucky we have a very patient GM that isn't willing to settle for being good and coming close. He wants to win a championship and we have the potential to get there still with our roster and assets."

If anyone cares about odds, the 6th pick, (something I think could be easily attainable for us) increases our odds of a top 3 pick to 21.5% compared to 6% where we are right now at the 9th spot.

Actually looking at it, the 5th pick doesnt seem out of the question either.

Little chance we catch the TWolves, Knicks, Laker, or 76ers but everyone else is fair game

9   Boston 20-32
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

Maybe we could just try and beat the Lakers tonight and tank for the rest of season  ???

  • Eagerly Awaiting the Next Fantasy Draft
I'm tired of Sullinger, getting injured because he's overweight then coming into training camp overweight since he was rehabbing in the off-season and couldn't be active enough to lose weight.

If he can't come into camp in the best shape of his life next year for his restricted free agent season then I think he is a lost cause.

Mark my words, Olynyk is going to come back and cement himself as the long term 4 of the C's to end  the season.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

Insane.

It's going to be hard waiting around for the next five years until the Philly Tank Experiment is an undeniable failure and other "fans" can stop with this stuff.

Sigh... I was really warming up to the idea of making the playoffs.  I guess we'll get 'em next year.

Hope Sully is a fast healer.

I think I would take that bet, I bet Jerebko outdoes him.

What's insane?
That I want our assets to develop as much as possible, thus increasing their trade value to potentially net us a star?
