I would provided we don't give up any of our valuable players
Sully, smart, young should be off limits

Also it depends on the draft, I mean a good player could slip down
Like kris taps Porzingis, Kelly oubre or hezonja

If it were to choose between Winslow, WCS, and turner I would trade for Noel

But Philly probs don't do this, they would want a young player plus our pick and may be another pick or their 2nd rounders back

Would rather trade up for Stanley Johnson, the kid is going to be an 18ppg+ scorer and an elite defender in the NBA. He won 4 state championships in HS, and is on a final 4 caliber team this year. He is the kid I want most in this draft.

It would depend a lot on who was available with our pick.  Outside of the top 10, the talent drops off and it'd be a no brained for us (but not for Philly), inside the top 10 it depends on who falls to our pick

I wouldn't complain if Danny made the trade, although only seeing 1 year of Noel and considering that he only has 2 years left on his contract after this year makes me a little wary
I'm bitter.

Hinkie won't want actual players in return most likely.

I'm not sure I do it. He'll already be halfway through his rookie contract.
*CB Miami Heat*
Kyle Lowry, Dwayne Wade, 13th pick in even numbered rounds, 18th pick in odd numbered rounds.

Some of you guys are tripping. Noel is legit.  Getting potentially dominant defensive centers isn't easy.  Noel is going to finish this season averaging something like 10 points 8 rebounds 2 blocks and 2 steals ... Considering he's coming off a major injury and 20 years old, it will take a lot.

If we end up with a top 5 pick and they land Okafor, they might consider it.

If we are picking 7-12, I think you will need to include sully or oly.

In the two games I've seen the Celts play Philly, I haven't seen anything to suggest Noel is legit.

Again, I would trade Olynyk for him, but that's it.

The thing is, if Noel is available it means the 76ers drafted a big man and are too crowded. That means we would not have to grossly over pay for him. Bradley and our pick? Sully and our pick? Are we getting a Greek god? I think we could get Noel for a lot less in that situation.

Give them all our seconds for the next five years.  Hinkie seems to like those.

Noel is from Massachusetts, just try and sign him in 2-5 years as a free agent.

Given what rim protectors are going for now days I think that is extremely unrealistic. That's a severe underpay.

Yes and no more than that. He's an elite defensive player, but very limited offensively (47% TS%) and with bad hands.  Cannot see him at PF long-term.

Definitely not the franchise player Hinkie is obssessed with finding,so look for him to be moved eventually.

Yes, a 2 game sample size is clearly enough to judge a 20 year old rookie who's already one of the better rim protectors in the NBA.

Only two of those are valuable, the other is hurt because he is too fat.

The correct answer is it depends where we are drafting.   If you think you can get a better player than him then I would not.   If we can't then one has to consider the deal but there is no promise Philly will have him on the market folks.

I would part with our #1

I understand he is a young 7 ft rim protector but I don't buy into his stat line. Last year Mcw had a 17,6,6 stat line, turner was 17pts 6boards soencer hawes: 13 points 9 boards Thad young avgd 18 and 6

All of these stat lines in my opinion suggest a far superior player to reality I don't believe spencer hates to be a ~9 RPG guy nor do I think young turner or mcw are half as good as their ~17 ppg suggests

Noel is no Anthony Davis

That all being said I would move the first unless we can get someone we think will be a two-way start. That is a whole different argument but I would see okafor, towns, Russell, Johnson, mudiay and potentially the euros as better players(I've heard good things but won't pass judgement till much closer to draft night). Also I think you could make the argument that wcs, turner, would also be more prudent decisions.

In summary: if we are 7-12 I do it  and I'd also throw in some filler ie 2d riders and super protected firsts, but if they start asking for multiple top 20 picks and guys like young and sully I don't do it

Cool... he had 9 blocks and 4 steals in his last game.
