I never would've believed this headline, but when you read the actual article it makes a ton of sense. There have been several times when the players themselves have said publicly he needs to tone it down a bit and let them rest. Maybe it's no coincidence that they've been hit with the injury bug so much the last few years.
I think Thibs is best served as the lead assistant/head defensive coach for a team. If he could go back to accepting an assistant role, I would love to see him be the lead assistant and defensive architect for Brad. He could crack the whip on the younger, softer guys, I'm looking at you KO, while not being as intimidating as a head coach. It'd be an interesting dynamic for sure.
