If Stevens decides that IU may be more attractive than rebuilding...
Why would he choose to coach Indiana when he's coaching the Boston Celtics?  This argument has never made sense to me.

The same reason Rick Pitino chose to quit the Boston Celtics and go back to coaching college.

Or the same reason Mike Krzyzewski continually turns down NBA offers (like for the Celtics and Lakers), or John Calipari turned down $80m to coach LeBron this past summer, or how guys like Billy Donovan or Tom Izzo also turn down offers to coach NBA championship contenders...

Why would a coach want to win more, work less, have more control, be a bigger celebrity (NCAA is dominated by coaches, NBA by players), while still making tons of money?

It's not like were talking about an unprecedented move here.
