Oh of course. I meant that in a sense that if Crowder is a consistent 3 point threat, then it will lessen the blow, maybe by a little, or a lot.

I've been converted to a fan when he called everybody out. And he's showing that he even though he's not the de facto leader, he's leading by example with his hustle and energy.

Yes he backs up the talk with effort . You can't fault his energy ......it's a good thing for this group .

I like his hustle as well.  I don't see him as more than a role player at his peak but if he keeps this up, he'll likely lessen the sting talent-wise once Danny moves Green.  (assuming Danny can move Green)

Boxing out bigs is turning into a Smart signature play.  If he can avoid fouls I like it, other than the injury risk.

I haven't been able to find the Mike and Scal telecast, but these Nets announcers are predictably horrible, if not also highly entertaining, like when Jeff Green missed his fifth shot in seven tries, and they said that Green has to start hitting these shots sooner or later, because he was 3/13 against Charlotte, and I'm thinking to myself, "guys, don't complicate things.  He's just given up," lol.

The Nets are just atrocious to watch.  As painful as our rebuild is going to be, Brooklyn's situation is a million times worse.

I'll be interested to see him use his body to attack the rim ...he is built for the contact

But I think he is trying to stay out of foul trouble , thus not driving down the lane so much yet is my guess.
