The Nets got a few scrubs on the floor.
Once you are labeled 'the best' you want to stay up there, and you can't do it by loafing around.

Great pass by Smart, but now if Thornton starts playing well, we're never going to see Young again this year. :'(  Sigh.

The Nets are just atrocious to watch.  As painful as our rebuild is going to be, Brooklyn's situation is a million times worse.
just think of those lovely picks from 2016-2018 and smile ;D

I haven't been able to find the Mike and Scal telecast, but these Nets announcers are predictably horrible, if not also highly entertaining, like when Jeff Green missed his fifth shot in seven tries, and they said that Green has to start hitting these shots sooner or later, because he was 3/13 against Charlotte, and I'm thinking to myself, "guys, don't complicate things.  He's just given up," lol. ;D

I'm also watching the Brooklyn broadcast, but I'm pleasantly surprised listening to them. I usually don't pay much attention to other teams' announcers, but if they're anything like Tommy and incredibly homer-sih, I can't stand it. These guys aren't too bad in that regard.

How is Darrius Morris still in the league?  He can't play at the NBA level.

nice pass..nice finish..smart is coming around..

The last several games he's looked pretty good running the second unit.
agreed.  seems he's more comfortable not having to run the starting unit.

Well, it might be because our starting lineup is full of mal content role players while our bench unit has hustlers like Crowder and Olynyk.

There's plenty of time for young James Young. I'd rather have Thornton playing well and be moved by trade deadline first.

Chicken or egg question.  Are the players doing well, so Stevens can employ a more reasonable rotation, or are they playing well because he's using a more reasonable rotation?

I thought it was just me but BS seems to be using a reasonable rotation this game -- at least more sensible than usual

nice pass..nice finish..smart is coming around..

I'll be interested to see him use his body to attack the rim ...he is built for the contact

But I think he is trying to stay out of foul trouble , thus not driving down the lane so much yet is my guess.

ya. after those injuries the body heals before the mind....with me anyway..!

Because he's only played 10 players not his normal 20 lol
