Reggie Jackson is not included in a deal to the Knicks, league sources tell Yahoo Sports. So far, unclear if he's headed anywhere at all.

What nincompoop hijacked Presti's office?

I'd guess the one who gave up on resigning Jackson

Edit: not that one actually!!

So Dalembert in or not? Because I don't see how the money works if he is in there too without sending someone else out from Cleveland.

So far, it looks like Cleveland is sending out Waiters, Alex Kirk, and Lou Amundson and taking in Dalembert, Shumpert, and Smith (Waiters to OKc, no idea on the return)

The Cavs have a trade exception for ~5 million from trading Bogans to the 6ers, so they can absorb one of those contracts w/out sending out salary

Alone, yes, but not as aggregated salary

So, in short... kinda (they can be traded alone, but you can't use them+others to get a higher paid player)

Not together nope, the day after the Rondo trade was the deadline for that. That's why we made our move when we did.

So Dalembert in or not? Because I don't see how the money works if he is in there too without sending someone else out from Cleveland.

Cleveland has a $5 million-ish trade exception and a $4.9 million injured player exception.

If that's the deal, and a #1 isn't included, it's a slam dunk for the Cavs.

Conflicting reports on whether or not Jackson is involved. Woj says no; Broussard says yes.

Yeah, I don't see why the Knicks would do this unless they're getting a pick (unless they get a good player from OKC, although it won't be Jackson)

Well I know which way I'm leaning.
