Larry Sanders told the Bucks he doesn't want to play basketball anymore, according to Gery Woelfel of the Racine Journal Times.

A Bucks official said the team had attempted to trade Sanders, along with Brandon Knight, to the Pacers last summer for Roy Hibbert.

It's hardly a secret Bucks have been trying to trade Sanders.Asked f the Bucks could trade Sanders now, an NBA official said: "Good luck.''

Wow... -_-. What a waste of talent.

It's based on your perspective, quite simply
We're the same and we're not; know what I'm saying? Listen
Son, I ain't better than you, I just think different

he'll surely regret those words if true. whether he wants to play or not, he's got money to collect but shutting up and sitting tight.

well, it is his call. he's probably made a bit over $10,000,000 in his time in the nba. that is enough to keep him from flipping burgers for the rest of his life.

my questions are whether he knows what he wants to do with his life. and whether he knows how to control his money. (think antoine.)

but as i said, his life. good luck to him.

Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

Reminds me of Keon Clark all over again.  It's enough to live on if he doesn't blow it or get heavy into drugs.  I suppose this is better than just going through the motions pretending to like basketball just for a paycheck like Eddy Curry.

Taxes took half of it. if he bought a big house, got more than two girlfriends, took nice vacations, bought more than one nice car, bought insurance, and got a whole bunch of tats what he had will dry up quick. I'm not sure he has played long enough to make much of the NBA pension, which you don't get till you're like 45. This is stunning. If he hates the NBA maybe a nice Euro stint would help. Make a few mill in a nice place.

It has sounded to me as if he's been self-medicating some mood issues for some time now. I wish him the best.

No. Going thru the motions for an NBA paycheck is way way better. If he was my kid I would definitely advise him to go thru the motions.
He has an education from VCU I think.  If he thinks working in a cubicle or selling cars will fulfill him I think he has another thing coming

Stunning indeed. I wonder if he just wants to get out of Milwaukee? It sounds like its a deeper issue than that and I wish him the best.

i know. from what i have read on his decisions so far, i doubt he is being frugal and wise with his pennies. the odd thing is that this year was his first big paycheck, $11 million over last year's $3 million.

oh well. i am sure he will make a rational and prudent decision.  ::)

Stunning?  Not at all.  Not surprising in the least.  He has always been a moron.  I bet we still have posters who think he is our answer as a "rim protector."
