To me: Smart, Young, Crowder, Zeller and Olynyk are worth keeping for the long term. I want to say Sully's in the mix too, but I'm still torn on whether or not KO & Sully can work on the same team.
No not necessarily.  These are the guys who can fetch something in trade. I might keep Young but none of the others will be big stars in this league, just rotation players, at best.

Smart has the most potential of anyone on the team. I think he has several ALL-Star games in his future. It will take a while, but he'll get there.
Smart is the Jeff Green of this draft class: Plenty of skill but will never be an All-Star.  Both were "safe" picks, that is, players who would most likely pan out into something decent but not stars.

Vehemently disagree...You put Marcus Smart & Jeff Green into a steel cage and Green is ripped to shreds within two minutes. Those two guys couldn't be any more different make up wise. Green has all the talent to be a bonafide star. The only reason why he's not is because he's "too happy to be here". Smart will get every inch out of his ability, b/c his work ethic is off the charts.

The difference between a good player and a great player, most of the time is the willingness to work and get better. Smart has that in SPADES. Green is missing that vital gene.

No Jefferson, no Stephenson, no problem for the Hornets. James Young the highlight of the night.

Sully has Sully on his fantasy team. ;)
Once you are labeled 'the best' you want to stay up there, and you can't do it by loafing around.

Big difference between those two: heart and fire. Green has never had it, but it's never been a question if Smart has had it.
beat me to the punch on this one. Smart will bring it every night. I think he's the future caprain and leader of our core of tomorrow.

He isn't afraid to put energy into a game.....

Kinda reminds me of a younger Wallace.

The comparison is insulting. Smart, one way or another, will marshal every morsel of his basketball potential. Green never will.

Hey Coach Stevens. Can we play tight in your jersey defense, without any rim protection behing us?

We can?

Tank you!!!!
