yeah but saying that Bradley's D has gotten much worse because he can not shutdown Harden, Wall and the likes for the entire game is not fair. I don't see anyone in the league do that atm.
He hasn't been able to shut down anyone for years now.
perhaps, though another, at least complicating explanation is possible - CBS' defensive scheme. after reading a piece earlier on cb about the celtics and their "ice" defense it was brought out that guards are supposed to direct/force attacking players on PnR to the baseline and then let the big man help defend the offensive player, thereby forcing a low percentage 2 point shot.
this means that bradley, at CBS direction, is not playing defense in the same way he was a few years ago, at least partly because of the team's defensive scheme. he is not being called upon to take on an opponent one-on-one defensively as may have been the case earlier in his career.
i am not saying you are wrong on bradley, koz, only that there may be another factor that is at play here.
