So is Olynyk only playing 15 mins a game now? What is up with this 12 player roatation?
thats the trouble with having several mediocre redundant players...  They are all interchangeable and all average or less than average.
That bugs me about Stevens. The "everybody must play" "be fair to everyone" stuff.

Pick the guys that are most important to the team and it's future and prioritize them.

This is the way Mr. Rogers would coach

It just feels like another trade needs to happen in order to free up minutes

Stevens has a really tough job right now.

Miami does not have more talent than us tonight but they are executing the hell out of us.  Experience on elite teams is a huge help even to the role players.

Maybe Smart's consistent shooting of 3's is starting to pay off?
You can't reason someone out of a position they didn't reason themselves into.

Yeah but that's the problem... There is nobody more important than anyone else.  Olynyk is arguably better than Sully, but you can't play them at the same time.

Turner is arguably better than Bradley or smart but you can't play all three together.   It is what it is.

So much for Marcus Smart getting 35 minutes.
brad basically said in the pregame that they are better with turner. Kinda true.
Agree that they are better with Turner.

I would play Smart 30-33mpg for developmental purposes though.

Might as well.  The team is going nowhere as currently structured.

As long as he doesn't develop any bad habits, it's probably for the best to get him as much court time as possible.

Smart has to cut down on those pull up threes though.  His shot selection, typical of a rookie, is terrible.

When Smart takes the three within the rhythm of the offense like he did there, he looks good and seems pretty consistent.
Recovering Joe Skeptic, but inching towards a relapse.

I feel like Stevens' lack of consistency with players' PT is what irritates me most. KO has been on a hot streak and now his minutes are cut. Give the guy some burn... Or at least give me a reason he's not gonna get 30 a game until showing otherwise

True but I still think he should be driving/posting far more than he does.

This is what I think so often when I see how Stevens distributes minutes = little league coach.
