I sure as hell hope that there is a third party involved if this DAL rumor is true.

Gotta be.  There's no way Danny's accepting a trade centered around Wright + a late pick.  That's a horrible return.  Either Dallas is including one of their decent players or a 3rd team is involved.

DA...should be fired if he trades away a great player for scrubs .

Why start now?  He's done it before.  Ugh.

Now it just seems like Woj is being fed a bunch of crap from teams trying to drive down the asking price.

Brandan Wright, 2015, and 2017 with minimum protections. That has to be the bare minimum we're willing to play with.
I don't see why we would even want their 2015 pick. It's basically a second rounder.. Just toss it in the trash.
Or of course there could be this: http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=k6aww4u

With the Pelicans 1st and the Dallas 1st coming our way... But then again, this doesn't NEED to be a three-way, since it works as two bilateral trades.

Boston has reached the point of no return on a Rondo deal and Danny Ainge is moving fast toward sifting offers and making his best deal.

Wowwwwwwwwww

The reality is this: Rondo's value no longer dictates an All-Star in return, and waiting until the trade deadline won't improve packages.

Kyle Lowry, Dwayne Wade, 13th pick in even numbered rounds, 18th pick in odd numbered rounds.

Hoo boy.  It might really be happening, and I haven't seen a single asset named that I'm at all excited about.

KG + Pierce made a lot of sense despite no one great asset in the mix, but this is a guy who could contribute through 2020 at least.  Just doesn't make sense.

methinks someone else is going to have to take Green & Felton in a larger deal to make this work.

Wright + Crowder = $6M while Rondo = $13M...

Skeptical. Woj doesn't like DA. Could he be trying to pressure him?

Boston has traded Rajon Rondo to NBC's Basketball Talk for Sean Highkin and rampant Twitter speculation, league source confirms.

Who cares if we get an all-star... I'd even take Waiters at this point if Cleveland jumped in... he may not be worth an all-star but he's worth more than this garbage

Yeah both couldn't be any more than bench depth by the time Boston got more talent. Rondo's still a young player, guess he decided he wasn't going to be able to retain him in FA.

This is going to bum me out for a while if it happens.

That recent exposé piece aside, Woj is almost always right on the money with trade talk.

If we can get the Pelicans pick from Houston, I'd take it almost regardless of what players they're offering...it's at least likely to be a lotto pick, which is a heck of a lot better than a Brandan Wright rental and a low 1st.  And I LIKE Wright!  And Crowder! (as bench role players)

I'd rather Danny just told everyone to go blumpkin themselves on principle than take these crap offers.
