Wright and Jae Crowder and a 1st round pick (one which will be low)?

*sigh*
The only way this package doesn't upset me is if we can move Wright to another team for a quality asset.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

I'm sorry I don't believe this happens until I see it... then I may question if I can even watch the C's for the rest of this year. That deal is a huge slap in the face

Wojo - wright, crowder and a number one is being discussed

correction: it was tossed out there by Dallas and Boston said... um, no thanks.

if it's gotta be this , then I want their 2018 pick when Dirk and chandler will likely be washed up
Wow. That's pretty bad, even with an unprotected 2018 pick.

Also, it doesn't work under the cap, so a contract like Felton or Harris must be in a deal like this, as a minimum. Not that it makes the deal any better.

If that's what they get,  I want them to part ways with Ainge.   They need a different pair of eye's on the whole situation.   He's a good Gm,  but he'll have lost the script.

I remember when Boston was proclaimed the frontrunner when a Asik deal was deemed imminent.  Ultimately, no deal was made because no one met Morey's price.  This feels similar, so I think Ainge holds firm to his demands and is probably as willing to let Rondo walk for nothing as Morey was willing to risk losing Parsons in free agency.

Actually, the deal was all but consummated -- Morey went on the record as saying the deal fell apart at the ownership level, i.e. Les Alexander didn't give the final approval.

Gross.  That only makes any sense at all if Danny never planned on keeping Rondo here.  Given Wright needs to be resigned too I'd almost rather hang on and lose him for nothing.  Yuck.

EDIT: Ah, if that was Dallas' offer that was refused, it makes more sense.  But how does that gap get bridged?

Well, that's my guess. I mean, come on, that's just a terrible offer for Rondo.

Terrible. I like Houston's deal better. Capela is an interesting prospect. Wright is what he is at this point
PHX Suns: Russell Westbrook, Chris Bosh, Tristan Thompson, Trevor Ariza, Tony Allen, Trey Lyles, Corey Brewer, Larry Nance Jr., Trey Burke, Troy Daniels, Joffrey Lauvergne, Justin Holiday, Mike Muscala, 14.6
