Brandan Wright, 2015, and 2017 with minimum protections. That has to be the bare minimum we're willing to play with.
I don't see why we would even want their 2015 pick. It's basically a second rounder.. Just toss it in the trash.

If Wright was under contract for another couple years, it may be different.

He's not though and will need to be resigned. Likely to a deal starting around $8mill+ annually.

I'm just going to hug a pillow and rock back and forth until this is all over because I'm terrified right now...
I'm with you man...

Man... they've been talking about how Ainge is coming to the realization that Rondo isn't as valuable as he previously thought, but surely it can't be Wright, Crowder, and a low 1st low.

If that's the garbage being offered you hold onto him and let him walk...

None of the Dallas combinations make any sense to me at all.  I suspect that Danny will wait until the deadline if this is the best offered before this Dec 19 deadline before the deadline.

I like some of the LAL deals but only if they include Randle and a future unprotected first (Nash for filler).  Randle is kind of like a draft pick.  I know we already have too many young PFs but we can sort out the roster at some time in the future.  Randle has as much or more value than most of the other picks that have been discussed.

I am not high on Hardaway so I don't like the prospect of dealing with NYK.

I think CLE could be a dark horse.  They might just panic and trade us Irving although probably not until further down the road.

Boston has reached the point of no return on a Rondo deal and Danny Ainge is moving fast toward sifting offers and making his best deal.

Remembering DA's past deals (07, fleecing the Nets, Zeller for nothing, etc) are giving me comfort right now. He isn't this stupid there's no way...

This is a good offer.  Wright and Crowder would fit in the rotation very well.  High energy, run the floor play defense, make quick decisions, versatile, hard working, overachieving...sound like Brad Stevens type of players...they would be interchangeable parts in the rotation...building a team here...no prima donnas.  The 1st round draft pick would be a bonus.  This is will be Steven's team - not Rondo's.

You forget the same GM who accepted that deal also dealt four firsts for the corpse of Pierce/KG.

Draft: 8 first rounders in next 5 years.
