That's what you're waiting for if you're Danny.  Jump on Lopez.  You have the ammo.

Yes.  Jump at the chance for a 7 footer who can't stay healthy.

Yep.  Especially since he's better than anything on your roster and fits perfectly with your team.

Celtics do need to fill the slot in the trainers room i guess.

This could be a moon shot, but we need a defensive minded big. Any way to get KG back in Boston? He's not the long term answer but he could help us defensively at the end of games and be a mentor to Sully, KO, Zeller, Etc.

I don't understand this train of thought.

1. we won't win the title this year, short term upgrades not part of the future don't make sense due to this.
2. if we can't win the title, why not just enjoy watching basketball and not are about wins and losses, focus on players development.  Another facet which will be retarded if we bring KG back.
3. I know other people won't agree with this, but a well played and entertaining game in which we lose is the best possible outcome in my book.

Lopez would be a massive upgrade and certainly fills a need on the team, but I'm not sure what we'd have to part with in order to facilitate the trade, and his injury history definitely gives me pause.

But for everyone that's getting all up on Tyler Zeller's jock this year... you'd spend the rest of the season completely hot and bothered if we managed to snag Lopez. He might be the most offensively talented center in the league right now (of course, he can't defend, or rebound).

I though he was thinking of taking the injured overseas slot.

I don't think it's going to take a lot based on his injury history.  Tough to speculate though.  I doubt Danny would give them anything to help their rebuild.

Geez.  I just watched him go 16/16 on somebody the other day.

Agreed, but what to trade?  Don't think they would take back just Wallace.

Has there been any point in the past two years where all three weren't available?

Yes, I suppose that's true, I was thinking of it from a purely playing time perspective.  KG does bring leadership and good player habbits that young players can emulate

This. Also, which one of the lot would you really want? Williams and Johnson are on their last legs, and Lopez is not only allergic to BOTH defense and rebounding, but is also made of glass.

Oh, I agree. I just meant in the general sense that KG could help the Celtics younger players.

But, as an idea, would you move Wallace and a non-Brooklyn 1st for KG's expiring?
