I don't think he's below average from 10-15 feet unless it's a fraction of a percent. If you combine them he's average or better from 10-23 feet.
According to Hoopdata, the league average for 10-15 foot shots has been 38%, 39%, and 42% for the seasons between 2010 and 2013. In those seasons, Rondo has shot 31%, 28%, and 39% from that range.

2013 was the only season from 06-07 to 12-13 where the average wasn't between 38% and 40%. Rondo's career average through 2013 was 39%.

Fair enough. I am not particularly sure about the reliability here anyhow, since ranges are discrete, and Rondo seems to take very few jumpers from that range.

you guys are brutal .... he's back 3 weeks early from a broken hand.  I'm sure it still hurts and messes with his shooting touch.  Give him a few more weeks, hopefully the pain will have dissappated.  I'm sure if you were to ask him that he would tell you that he is only 89.5867%.  I think his shot will get better as his injury heals.

He's especially deadly from about 15 feet out right below the top of the key. That's his sweet spot. He'll hit 3 out of 10 from there all day...

While I think it might affect him, I do not think it hurts or the like.  In fact, broken bones do not hurt after a few weeks in the 9 that I have had and some of them I played on them.

Sometimes, I feel Rondo just screws around, 19 assists and 2 points, just to watch the world (of over-analysis by fans and """experts""" alike in sports) burn down.

Doing a pretty good job.

And we get to see history in the making with classic match ups like Eddie20 vs. BballTim and triboy vs. mmmmm.

The jester should stop "screwing around", it's costing him money.

TP on the matchups, that was funny! I will add that more and more people are jumping off the bandwagon with each passing game. Tim will ride Rondo until the wheels fall off. His loyalty should be admired.

Pretty much everything about Rondo has regressed. Except for his passing.
And his wardrobe.

Does it matter what we should be talking about is how bad his defense has regressed. He's just awful now and this is beyond his random gambling he's always done.

did you ever play defense the amount of lateral movement involved and stress on knees, the amount of screens in todays game and danger of re injury fighting over the top  and rondo has said  he is not 100%-he went down once with a knock to knee from a screen-we do miss marcus -how many games would we have won with him in 4th quarter- give the guy a break-i never came back from a knee injury and i loved playing d for rollie massimino pressure man to man help defense and 40minutes of it-our goal was to shut out an opponent for a quarter --so i know the pain of recovery and the hesitation of making certain move-it was a sad sight last year watching rondo thinking that was the end and look at him now---i posted about my injury  because unless you have been there its not like flipping a lightswitch-i applaud rondo for his work ethic and toughness -certain pivots  and under certain conditions lateral movement where knee is exposed and weight is on it--go back and look at some footage from last year and you might change your view

Sadly true.
