Sac town off to a good start, looking like 4-1 after tonight's clocking of the nuggets.  Cousins with 30 and 11, McLemore playing a bit better 10/7/3.  This kings team might be more interesting to watch than usual.  Good wins over the clippers and portland already.

Only following the Kings through highlights and box scores, but are they good now? They're 3-1, beating Denver by double digits in the 3rd quarter, and Cousins had 26 and 9 at the half. :o

Early days yet but it feels like they're the Suns of last season so far. Cousins is having an amazing start to the season.

Magic not mentioning Cousins in his MVP possibilities tweet is one of the biggest injustices of the 21st century. He threw Klay Thompson in there!

Wow... they give Lebron that foul when DFav had already landed...

I just watched the replay of that foul.  What garbage.  The refs tried to hand the Cavs overtime.  The NBA has to clean that crap up.  ESPN is just aiding and abetting by not pointing out what a bad call it was.  SMH

Yup..... Bron clearly wasn't trying to make a shot.....he was aiming his body , to make contact with the defender .   He did everything he could to allow his momentum to carry him towards the defender .not sure ...how the NBA thinks this is real, basketball?

When I see shooter throw his body at another player ......to me it's the same as a flop .....same play ....one that is designed to cheat .

Watched the first half of Miami vs Charlotte last night.

Unimpressed with the Heat offense. Too much reliance on isos / post play from Wade and Bosh. Too much one-on-one player and not enough team offense. Too much reliance on Norris Cole (a mediocre backup PG) to get others involved which he is not talented enough to do by himself. Wade has to take more responsibility as a creator (rather than scorer) and they got to get Deng more shot attempts off of quick movements. Deng invisible on offense for large portions of the game.

On the Bobcats, I really liked what I saw from Cody Zeller. Looks much more comfortable and confident. Played some very good defense on Chris Bosh. Was quick enough to stay in front of Bosh and had enough size to bother Bosh while he was shooting. Active on the boards also. Zeller took a couple of midrange jump shots too so it looks like that is an area he has been working on. Played well within team offense. Passed well, cut well, ran in transition, finished around the basket. Once Zeller gets that jump-shot down, he is going to be really useful offensively.

In that scouting report that was leaked earlier this year (the Deng one) it was not so effectively greyed out that Irving wanted to play the 2. Both his assist totals and the fact that he took nearly one third of the team's recorded field goals would indicate that.

It is? Bradley has played 120+ minutes so far this season, and has 2 (two) assists.

Ricky Rubio - 4 games, 10.8ppg, 11.0apg, 6.3rpg, 1.5spg on 42% FG% in 32.8mpg.

Looks like Ricky Rubio is off to a nice start. Wolves are 2-2 with two losses being a 1 point loss to Chicago and a 4 point loss to Memphis. Wins over Detroit (6pts) and Brooklyn (7pts).

Golden State's bench last night:

G: Shaun Livingston
G: Leandro Barbosa
F: Andre Iguodala
F: David Lee
C: Fetsus Ezeli

With Brandon Rush and Mareesse Speights as 11th and 12th man. That is incredible depth.

I really like their defense with Draymond Green in there. Bogut seems more involved with David Lee out of the picture offensively as well. And I think Lee will enjoy having the offense run through him in the 2nd unit as stars rest.

Draymond Green (PF) and Andrew Bogut (C) reminds me a lot of Bogut and Mbah a Moute starting together at big man positions in Milwaukee when they had one of the toughest defensive teams in the league under Scott Skiles. I think GSW should keep those two together as starting bigs.

I think the offense will have better balance with Lee in 2nd unit. Less hands to feed in starting lineup. Guys are more involved (Bogut, Iggy or Barnes) and Lee can have more consistent touches and have offense run through him in 2nd unit which will hopefully help him ... and, surely, David Lee will feast on 2nd unit defenses.

The Iggy situation is murkier. Ideally you want him to start. It's a shame Harrison Barnes as such a hard time with that bench role. Iggy-Bogut is such a potent and important 1-2 punch defensively for Golden State. Throw in Draymond Green as starting PF and that is one heck of a defensive frontcourt.

I really like this T-Wolves team..they are young, upcoming team..if they was in the East, they probably be a 6th seed playoff team
C/PF-Horford, Baynes, Noel, Theis, Morris,
SF/SG- Tatum, Brown, Hayward, Smart, Semi, Clark
PG- Irving, Rozier, Larkin

:o Haha. This is the best stat I've read on here in a long long time. I knew I was frustrated with his blackholeism, but two assists.....Wow.
