Missed the 2nd half, which seemed to be the better half.

So Powell apparently looks good?

Does he look like he can defend 3 positions?

Thornton and Powell were the 2 stars in the 2nd half

I love how Marcus Smart's defense has inspired Marcus Thornton to show what he can do on the defensive end of the ball. You get one guy setting the defensive pace, and others step up to prove they can do that too.
My biases, in order of fervor:
Pro:
Smart, Brown, Hayward, Tatum, Kemba, Grant Williams, Sleepy Williams, Edwards!

Anti:
Kanter, Semi, Theis, Poierier

Yup. He looks like Marcus Smart SF/PF version. He was stuck on his man. Also played really good Team D. I can't even count how many deflections he got us

Wow.

People were talking down Smart's intensity and intangibles. But, man, the mental part of the game is underrated.

Can't wait to watch the 2nd half on replay.

Nice.

Not a center, then, though, from the sounds of it?

At least RR and Green's injuries are giving Smart / Turner / Pressey / Thorton more minutes right now.

It feels like we are a significantly deeper team than the last couple of years.  Our whole 2nd unit (whomever that ends up being - maybe Bass, Wallace, Turner, Smart, Zellar) can at least play good D and be effective.  I am not sure you could say that about last year's team.

no. Definitely not. But a SF/SG with ability to defend all the way out to the perimeter. Very good footwork and lateral quickness

He came out of nowhere a few times to grab some nice rebounds. Definitely explosive

He has a nice jump shot and dribble and pop ability.  But doesn't look confident taking it.  Prob wants to try to make the lineup by grinding it out first
