I was a little scared when I saw Sipowitz  picked, but I was actually going for the superior Dennis Franz cop role of Lt. Norman Buntz from Hill Street Blues (we will not mention the abomination that was "Beverly Hills Buntz").  Franz was more bareass than badass as Sipowitz (seriously, they showed way too much of him).
