I heard a report on WEEI saying the broken bone was in the back of his hand, and not the knuckle area, which is common if you punch something(the knuckle area).

That's incorrect. Google "boxers fracture" so you can see the images if where the break is found on the metacarpal.

Rumors swirling that it happened in Altitude, a trampoline park.

I saw the trampoline speculation. My problem with that is if it happened in a public place like a trampoline park, then it probably wouldn't be a rumor. The story would be " Rondo flies off trampoline and lands awkwardly in front of 15 people!!"

It was Fab Melo.
At least a goldfish with a Lincoln Log on its back goin' across your floor to your sock drawer has a miraculous connotation to it.

Am I the only one wishing this is really some secret surgery to improve his shooting.

Bionic hand.

Ray Allen has one.

Just saw breaking news.

He had surgery today according to the Globe.

Wow, that's too bad.  I was really looking forward to seeing Rondo and Smart go at it in practice.
